Tonight on the CW the series Supergirl airs with an all-new Sunday, May 5, 2019, season 4 episode 20 and we have your Supergirl recap below. On tonight’s episode called, “Will the Real Miss Tessmacher Please Stand Up?” as per the CW synopsis, “Kara and Lena head to Kaznia to hunt down Lex. However, Eve Tessmacher sets a trap for the duo that could ultimately reveal that Kara is Supergirl. Meanwhile, Alex gets a long-awaited phone call, James practices using his powers, and Ben Lockwood takes a dangerous stand inside the DEO.”
While there, a prison riot breaks out and Kara must find a way to stop the prisoners without revealing her secret identity as Supergirl. Meanwhile, Kelly encourages James to talk to someone for his PTSD.”

Alex and Kelly are out running with Jimmy’s sister when she gets the call from an adoption agency. She is going to be a mother! Meanwhile, Lockwood listens to his son to talk at his wife’s funeral. Angry and grieving, he heads to the DEO and demands they find who killed his wife. He wants them to start with Jimmy.
Nia and Brainy work with Jimmy. They have discovered he is fireproof. Brainy gets the word about Lockwood. He needs to get there since Haley and Alex are out of the office. Meanwhile, Lena and Kara are on her jet. They run into what they think is a storm. Lena heads to the cockpit. Kara turns Supergirl and helps Lena get them safely to the ground without her knowing.
Alex tells Kelly she doesn’t know if she can do this. Alex talks her down. All Alex wants to do is talk to her sister. When she thinks about what Kara would say to her about having a baby she calms down.
At the DEO Brainy uses his powers to stop Lockwood and one of his men from snooping around. When they demand access to an office, Brainy tells them he cannot allow them in there. Lockwood becomes angry.
Lena and Kara arrive at a lab where they find Eve. She confesses she will always be on Lex’s side. Lena threatens her. She is going to tell them what they need to know or there is always a prison.
Alex waits to hear about the mother giving birth to her potential baby. She tells Kelly she is scared.
Eve is acting strange while being questioned. Kara looks at what she keeps her eyes on – claw marks across the floor leading to a vent. George finds his dad at the DEO. He is upset that Lockwood would leave his mom’s funeral to work. Lockwood needs to find his wife’s killer.
Lena and Kara find a room down the hall from the claw marks. Inside plans to attack America. Eve tells them he has a tank. She keeps repeating the word “tank.” Lex has done something to her. They discover Kara’s doppelganger.
Alex gets sad news – the mother has changed her mind and she is going to keep the baby.
Kara tells Lena that Supergirl’s doppelganger has to have some decency if she comes from Supergirl. Meanwhile, Brainy tries to talk sense to Lockwood who receives word his wife’s killer has been found.
Eve’s doppelganger comes out of nowhere. Alarms in the building set off. Lena and Kara run for it. Kara finds some disturbing surveillance done on her and Lena. She sets the wall of photos on fire.
Lockwood and his men arrive at a building where he believes he will find his wife’s killer. Inside they find several aliens hiding out. Lockwood wants them all taken in. Brainy tries to reason with him, he got his man and that is all he needs. Lockwood isn’t having it.
Kara and Lena find a file. Lex has a mole inside the government, Tess Walker. Eve continues to replicate. Lena fights one while Kara turns into Supergirl, fighting several Eve’s in an adjacent room.
Brainy tries to get all of Lockwood’s men to realize they are breaking their oaths to the constitution as they stand in the street rounding up the aliens. Jimmy and Mia arrive. Lockwood goes crazy and morphs into a superhuman. He throws a car at Nia, Jimmy, and Brainy. Manhunter arrives and stops Lockwood. Meanwhile, Supergirl has trouble battling Eve’s but manages to conquer them all while Lena comes face to face with Tess. She runs to find Kara who has just finished her fight. When they head back to see Tess she is gone, fading into the ether.
Brainy and the gang round up the aliens to get them to safety while Lockwood is down and unconscious.
Just when Kara thinks she might expose who she really is on their plane ride home, Lena tells her how upset she was to discover Eve had been lying to her this whole time. Kara changes her mind.
Alex and Kelly sit and talk about their past relationships and what has changed them. Kelly shares she was once engaged. Alex shares how she left her fiancé who didn’t want kids.
George tells his dad he saw what he did today and he won’t forgive him. He is the reason his mother is dead. Kara sits and talks with Jimmy about how she almost told Lena. She will one day but not yet.
Kara meets with the president to tell them all about what Lex has been up to and his plans to attack. He has his men take Kara away.
