The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers update for Monday, July 8, tease that Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) will have an important decision to make. After Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri) did his daddy’s dirty work, Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) played dumb about his son’s proposal and took the lead. Now it’s Thomas’ big chance to make a pitch for the future and win Hope over.
Thomas will continue to manipulate Hope in Monday’s B&B episode. He’ll want Hope to accept that Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) isn’t part of her life anymore. Thomas will assure Hope that Liam is meant to be with Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) instead. Since drugged Liam recently slept with Steffy, Hope will believe that’s true. She’ll start to come around on the idea of being with Thomas.
Hope isn’t ready to remarry – and she knows that deep down. Nevertheless, Hope won’t really see what she has to lose here. She already feels like she lost the things that matter most. Hope won’t think it’d hurt to move forward with Thomas and bring happiness to Douglas, so she’ll make a controversial choice. Thomas will be ecstatic when Hope decides her answer is yes.
Hope’s loved ones, on the other hand, aren’t going to be so thrilled. That’s especially true for Liam! He’ll arrive and get updates soon after this engagement happens, so expect him to lecture Hope again. Liam will insist Thomas is out of control, but Thomas won’t think this is any of Liam’s business. Distraught Hope may agree with her new fiancé since Liam’s been hitting the sheets with Steffy.
Other Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Xander Avant (Adain Bradley) will take the next step. He just found incriminating proof against Thomas by watching the parking lot security tapes. However, that’s not enough. Xander will determine he needs more evidence if he wants to ensure Thomas’ takedown. He’ll want Thomas to pay for Emma Barber’s (Nia Sioux) murder, so he’ll rev up his efforts.
Thomas isn’t quite the homicidal maniac Xander thinks he is, but he could be well on his way if this keeps up. Although Thomas contributed to Emma’s death, he didn’t set out to kill her that night. Since word has it another death is looming, the next one may be truly deliberate and menacing. Xander’s digging could lead to a gruesome nightmare if he’s not careful!
