General Hospital Spoilers: Wednesday, June 3 – Valentin’s Helena Confession – Charlotte Activates Chimera – Michael Surprises Nelle

General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Wednesday, June 3, tease that the show will take us back to an episode that first aired on May 24, 2017. The Chimera chaos will rev up, so General Hospital spoilers say this is what you can look forward to.

Backstage the Nurses Ball, Jake Webber (Hudson West) tells Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez) and Emma Scorpio-Drake (Brooklyn Rae Silzer) about the powerful magic in the Chimera canister.

It’s supposed to be unleashed at the very end of the act. Charlotte’s frustrated when Jake refuses to explain how the trick works. Jake also doesn’t let Charlotte touch the canister when the reaches out.

After Ava Jerome (Maura West) tries to leave the event, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) wonders where she’s going. Sonny declares that the party’s just getting started and drags Ava out of the ballroom. Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) takes in the scene at a table across the room.

Michael Corithos (Chad Duell), Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogn) and Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) are also left a bit perplexed by the Sonny situation. Over with Jason Morgan (Billy Miller), he’s concerned about the Chimera necklace he found. Once Jason fills in Sam Morgan (Kelly Monaco), she realizes Jason thinks Jake dropped it.

Next, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) assures Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) that the person he sold the Chimera project to is dead. He also notes that it’s locked away in a basement somewhere and can’t do any damage. Anna, on the other hand, is a different story. Valentin rants about Anna turning his life upside down and hurting his marriage.

At GH, Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier) calls out for Michael in her sleep. Kiki Jerome (Hayley Erin) is on duty and hears, so she tells Michael over the phone that Nelle’s fine but could use a friend.

When Michael disappears from the event, Carly’s puzzled. She doesn’t think Michael would leave before Josslyn’s performance, but Joss downplays her act as no big deal.

Back with Anna, she calls Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) to find out why the Chimera project is so dangerous. Anna’s eyes widen as Robert explains. When Andre Maddox (Anthony Montgomery) appears, he isn’t interesting in dealing with Anna.

Anna determines that her twin sister must’ve gotten on his bad side, so Anna clarifies that Alex Devane-Marick (Finola Hughes) took her place.

Over with Valentin again, he pays Nina Reeves (Michelle Stafford) a visit at her table and hopes for another chance. Nina thinks she’s already given Valentin plenty and turns him away.

However, Nina changes her tune soon after. Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) mentions something about moving forward, but Nina murmurs about possibly not wanting to.

In the hall, Sonny rants about Ava using Morgan Corinthos’ (Bryan Craig) name along with her donation. Scott Baldwin (Shriner) takes Ava off to get some drinks, so that leaves Sonny to voice his frustration to Dante. Sonny isn’t pleased about Ava using Morgan’s memory to make herself look good.

Talk turns to uncovering the truth about why Morgan died, which is what Sonny wants to find out. Sonny’s determined to trace things back to the source of Morgan’s downward spiral – and he’s on the right track since thanks to his latest pill bottle discovery.

Dante brings up the night of The Floating Rib robbery and his lingering questions about why the pills were there. Sonny learns Ava and Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) were there that night and looks intrigued. Dante thinks it’s best for Sonny to steer clear of Ava since she tends to make Sonny do reckless things.

Moments later, Sonny meets up with Andre and learns Morgan was taking a placebo. The lab results confirm the pill tampering, so Sonny’s furious. When Sonny pops back in the ballroom, he glares at Ava. Meanwhile, Scott lets Ava know he covered their tracks, so everything’s going to be all right.

On stage, Valentin sings “And So It Goes” by Billy Joel. He visibly moves Nina, who considers chasing after Valentin when he exits with Anna. However, Curtis reminds Nina that it was only a song.

Next, Anna pushes Valentin to be the kind of man Nina and Charlotte deserve. It takes some convincing, but Valentin ultimately reveals he sold the Chimera project to Helena Cassadine (Constance Towers).

Jason finds Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst) to ask her if the necklace belongs to Jake. Liz insists it doesn’t, but Jason suggests Jake might’ve purchased it. Elizabeth is adamant that it isn’t Jake’s since he doesn’t have any money to buy things.

When Jake walks over, he clams up when asked about the Chimera necklace. Jake says he’s not feeling well, so Liz wonders if his nerves are getting the best of him. Elizabeth points out that Jake’s performance worked out just fine the year before. She thinks Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) can help again if Jake needs him.

Jake confesses that he’d rather skip the magic show and go home. After Charlotte realizes the magic show may not happen, she updates Emma and decides they should do the trick themselves.

After Charlotte pushes a button on the canister, it beeps and lights up. Elsewhere, Jake freaks when he realizes he realizes his magic kit is still backstage.

At GH, Michael pulls a chair up to Nelle’s bedside while she sleeps. He plays Josslyn’s performance on his phone, which causes Nelle to stir. She’s taken aback to see Michael and mentions him bailing on Joss’ song, but Michael assures Nelle that he just heard it. He adds that Josslyn gave him approval on this visit.

Back with Sonny, he tells Carly that he finally has some answers about what happened to Morgan. Over with Griffin Munro (Matt Cohen), he asks if Jason’s seen Anna anywhere. Griffin looks unsettled when he realizes Anna’s Chimera necklace is in Jason’s hand.
