Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers preview for the week of January 18-22 teases that some jaw-dropping moments are on the way. For starters, let’s discuss the consequences of Chad DiMera’s (Billy Flynn) betrayal. Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) was on the payroll as Chad’s nanny, so that’s going to be a big problem for Li Shin (Remington Hoffman) and the DiMera board.
Gwen could threaten to file some sort of sexual harassment lawsuit or at least call for Chad’s immediate firing. Perhaps Gwen could threaten to take her story to the media and ignite a scandal for DiMera Enterprises. Regardless, Chad will be stunned when Li shows up and announces some huge changes at the company.
Chad will insist that Gwen is a menace who duped him into sleeping with her. However, Li will point out that Chad’s not making a great case for himself here. If Chad was stupid enough to fall for Gwen’s tricks, Li will argue that he shouldn’t be running DiMera Enterprises.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Chad will get fired, which could give Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash) the opportunity to move right on up the corporate ladder. Will Jake become DiMera’s next CEO?
We should point out that Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus) will also show back up in the week ahead, January 18-22. It’s possible Gabi will be given a new role at DiMera as part of the restructuring after Chad gets the boot.
Whatever the case, Gabi will return and declare that they have unfinished business – perhaps legitimate business to go along with the personal issue she wants to address.
There’s a chance Gabi will become Jake’s co-CEO or possibly COO. Then again, Gabi might score a different title or just an opportunity to take charge again at Gabi Chic.
It doesn’t really matter anyway since Gabi’s mind won’t be on work. Gabi’s real goal in coming back to Salem will be to win Jake’s heart for herself again.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Jake and Gabi can be seen looking awfully cozy in DOOL’s extended weekly promo. Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow) will fume over a close moment she catches Gabi and Jake in, but Jake will downplay everything.
Jake will try to keep Gabi at a distance and focus on Kate, but that plan will be easier said than done. Back with Chad, his rotten week will continue as Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) decides she’s leaving him. Abigail won’t listen to Chad’s begging or his love declaration.
This isn’t about whether Abigail still loves Chad – because she certainly does. It’s about the broken trust between them that Abigail won’t be sure they can ever get back. Chad will have to watch as Abigail packs up her stuff and presumably goes to stay with her parents for a while.
Gwen will also make the move to the Salem Inn, so she’ll be rolling her suitcase through the town square when Anna DiMera (Leann Hunley) sticks a foot out to trip her.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Gwen will stumble and give Anna a dirty look. There’ll be a confrontation for these two after Anna warns Gwen to take that suitcase and slither back to wherever she came from.
Just where did Gwen come from though? Who is Gwen and why has she been targeting Abigail as well as the rest of the Deveraux family? These are important questions that need answers, so Chad will sit down for tense conversation with Dr. Wilhelm Rolf (William Utay).
It’ll take some convincing, but Chad will get Rolf to spill Gwen’s big secret and true agenda.
Chad will meet up with Abigail to reveal why Gwen hates her so much, but Gwen will break that news to Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) and Jennifer Deveraux (Cady McClain) herself.
“Maybe it’s time you knew,” Gwen says after opening her hotel suite door. Once Jennifer and Jack are inside, they’ll hear a shocking tale that explains why Gwen wants revenge.
Since Gwen will be dropping this bomb on Jack instead of Abigail, who’s been her main target this whole time, that says a lot about who the big reveal will be focused on.
It still seems incredibly likely that Jack is Gwen’s biological father. Just like how Charlie Dale (Mike Manning) hates his golden boy half-brother, Gwen most likely hates her golden girl half-sister.
Gwen may argue that Abigail got all Daddy’s money and adoration while she got nothing and had to struggle her entire life. As for Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold), she’ll face some struggles of her own since she still won’t be able to remember that night in London.
Nicole Brady (Arianne Zucker) will hint that there’s a way to strengthen Allie’s case. It looks like Nicole will be first to suggest the idea of hypnosis, but Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) will also wonder if Allie’s thought about it. Ben will bring the idea up to Allie again, so she’ll weigh the pros and cons.
Since Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) has hypnotized Ben before, he may share his experience with Allie and let her know what it’s like. Allie will eventually undergo hypnosis, though the promo seems to be skipping ahead to the week of January 25-29 on that.
DOOL fans will see Allie deal with some horrible flashbacks due to her hypnosis session. Marlena will comfort Allie as she sobs over what she went though, but at least Allie will know for a fact that Charlie’s to blame for the assault.
Other Days spoilers say Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) and Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) will clash over the peril she’s putting herself in. Brady will blast Philip Kiriakis (Jay Kenneth Johnson) for letting Chloe protect him since he’s got a target on his back.
Brady will feel like Philip’s putting one on Chloe’s back as well, but Chloe will want Brady to back off.
Since Chloe isn’t Brady’s ex-wife anymore, she’ll think he needs to understand that she’s a big girl and can handle this on her own. Unfortunately, Chloe will see how wrong she is once the mob hits hard! As other Days updates roll in, we’ll bring you the latest info.
