General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Michael Corinthos’ (Chad Duell) new marriage proposal could raise the stakes as Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) hides Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) and Willow Tait’s (Katelyn MacMullen) bio connection.
Carly had already decided to keep Willow’s true connection to Nina under wraps, but Willow’s own decision made Carly more confident it was the right call.
Since Willow no longer wants to find her birth mother and risk inviting trouble into her life, Carly must feel some sense of relief.
At this point, Carly is ready to just move on and shut Nina out of their lives entirely.
However, almost all juicy soap secrets have to be revealed eventually – and Carly’s going to land in hot water once it comes out that she’s been keeping quiet about such an explosive shocker.
In the meantime, GH writers may up the ante by solidifying Michael, Willow and Wiley Quartermaine-Corinthos (Viron Weaver) as a happy family.
There are several hints about Willow’s potential pregnancy in spoilers, so Wiley could have a little brother or sister on the way soon.
Of course, that could give Michael a great reason to propose and assure Willow that he’s in this forever.
Michael may want to marry Willow for keeps this time as they continue building a beautiful life together.
This could put even more pressure on Carly, who listened to Harmony Miller’s (Inga Cadranel) warning about Nina pulling Willow away from Michael.
That’s the last thing Carly would want, especially if another child and marriage are part of the equation.
As far as Carly’s concerned, having Willow learn the bio mom truth would be like throwing a grenade into her life – particularly into her romantic relationship.
Will Michael pop the question once more and leave Carly extra protective of his future with Willow?
