The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Wednesday, June 21 – Victoria’s Selfish Strategy – Nate Gains Advantage – Adam’s Risky Move

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Wednesday, June 21, reveals that Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will make a power play that’ll surely work in Nate Hastings’ (Sean Dominic) favor. Y&R fans know Victoria doesn’t want Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) working right now since he’s had so much on his plate lately.

Of course, this isn’t coming solely from a place of concern. Although Victoria cares about Nick’s well-being, her strategy is also a selfish one since she wants to promote Nate.

It’s clear that Victoria plans to slide Nate into the COO spot, even if she has to do it unofficially.

Whether Nick takes a formal leave of absence or just some personal time off like Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) suggested, Victoria will shove her brother aside.

Nick may object and assume Nate’s treating Victoria like his puppet on this.

It’ll seem like Nate’s pulling the strings from where Nick’s standing, so he might suspect this temporary arrangement could turn permanent.

Regardless, Nate will indeed gain an advantage over Nick in Wednesday’s Y&R episode.

Since Nate is so focused on power, Nick should end up more suspicious than ever about Nate’s motives for being with Victoria.

Over with Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott), she’ll reflect on the death of Cameron Kirsten (Linden Ashby) and will be relieved Faith Newman (Reylynn Caster) pulled through all the chaos alive.

The same goes for Nick and Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) since Cameron forced them into a dangerous situation as well.

Nikki will feel like she has a lot to be grateful for – though she’ll certainly have compassion for Nick, Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) once she gets updates on the baby’s demise.

Since Adam is desperate for Sally’s forgiveness, he’ll make a risky move.

Unfortunately, there’s a good chance that move will backfire since Sally may not be ready to let go of her anger.

Even if Adam can make progress with Sally, that won’t bring their little girl back to life.

Adam will end up on a terrible downward spiral later this week, so he’ll make some bad decisions and revert to his old ways.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Adam’s on the verge of spinning out, so stick with us for news on what that’ll mean for his character.
