The Walking Dead Season 5 Spoilers Second Half Premiere Synopsis: Rick and Company On The Run - Promo Video

The Walking Dead Season 5 spoilers promise an exciting second half of our favorite zombie fest! The Season 5 second-half video promo of The Walking Dead spoilers has finally come out, and while it doesn’t reveal much from the actual show, it does contain a lot of slow-motion. Slow-mo = the new trailer trend? Granted, the slow motion was probably a way to stretch out the trailer into one whole minute, while also allowing Rick Grimes [Andrew Lincoln] to highlight the stakes. The group is back together and on the run, once again – so thankfully, no more meandering, introspective episodes. After Beth Greene’s [Emily Kinney] death brought everyone together again, the show is bound to kick into a faster pace as the group strives to find a new home.

I’m guessing there will be a new set of villains in town, but the trailer doesn’t reveal any of that. Instead, it focuses on each member of the group fighting the zombies with their signature weapons – Rick with a gun, Michonne [Dana Gurira] with a katana, and whatnot.

Rick also narrates the trailer, saying, “Surviving, surviving together is all that matters. It’s all that matters.” The Season 5 second half premiere is set for February 8, which means we still have almost a month to go before the show returns to our screens. There’ll be another eight episodes until the end of the fifth season, which means that we’re bound to get another bundle of spoilers and trailers before the big date. We’ll probably get a more action-packed and spoilerific trailer as the mid-season premiere date gets closer, but I doubt we’ll know much more about the story.

We know that Rick and co are going to end up in or near Washington D.C. at some point, and we know Negan will make an appearance. We also know that Morgan will come back into the mix at some point as well, although the timeline of that remains unclear as well. But the show is bound to be more interesting now that everyone is together and on the move, especially since they’ve picked up some.. uh, interesting, companions.
