Leann Rimes Breaks Down Crying Over Stealing Eddie Cibrian During Giuliana Rancic's E! Interview (Video)

LeAnn Rimes may be all piss and vinegar on Twitter when it comes to public wars with enemy Brandi Glanville, but in an interview with Giuliana Rancic for the E! Special: LeAnn Rimes the singer breaks down and sobs about the people she and husband Eddie Cibrian hurt during the early days of their relationship. “All I wish is that everybody we hurt, that I hurt, can be happy. I wish I hadnled it differently because I wish it could have been better for me, for Brandi [Glanville], for Dean, for Eddie, for everyone else.”

If it sounds like LeAnn is trying to repent for breaking up the Glanville-Cibrian family and stealing Brandi’s children, think again. The singer explained how she and Eddie made the decision to, as Giuliana says, “act on it.” LeAnn explains, “I don’t think anything can separate anything that’s super-connected. You might have had so many things with each other’s spouses in your relationship, but something along the way broke that. You can’t break what’s broken already.” At this point, she’s stumbling over words and cutting herself off. She meant to say “you might have had so many wonderful things in your relationship, but something broke. I didn’t break Brandi and Eddie.”

It does make some sense—some relationships just don’t work. But I think we can agree that having an affair when both parties are married, and one has children who count on him, is just plain irresponsible. LeAnn is a shameless, self-indulgent liar who wants nothing more than to play the innocent American sweetheart with the perfect family. No wonder Brandi so openly hates her—the woman is trying to steal her kids. LeAnn spent a month (ish) in rehab, where she often left the facility. She said she needed to learn to be less harsh on herself and deal with anxiety and stress. What do you think of LeAnn’s faux apology? Do you buy it? Will you watch the E! Special this Sunday at 8pm?
