Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers update for Thursday, April 16, teases that Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) has some bombshells in his future. Evan Frears aka Christian Maddox (Brock Kelly) has entered into a joint legal defense agreement with Orpheus (George DelHoyo). As a result, Evan’s been waiting in lockup while his lawyer deals with Orpheus matters.
Zoey (Kelly Thiebaud) is pulling double duty, so this attorney is a busy woman! It turns out Zoey also has some secrets, so Rafe may get updates on those this Thursday.
Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that Zoey is Orpheus’ daughter. DOOL fans will recall Orpheus talking to Evan about his sister, so this is how she’ll enter the picture. Zoey will work hard to get her father and brother off the hook.
Sooner or later, Evan and Orpheus will indeed score their freedom. That news certainly won’t please Rafe, who wants to keep these criminals off the street.
There’s also the matter of David Ridgeway (Caleb and Kyle Ends) and who’ll get permanent custody. It turns out Zoey will sue for custody next week, so she’ll cause more issues than Rafe could’ve imagined.
We should note that Thiebaud had to be replaced before her stint at Days was finished. It looks like a scheduling conflict came up that left DOOL with no choice but to hire someone else. Thankfully, Alyshia Ochse will serve as a perfectly good Zoey when the time comes! We’ll let you know when Ochse’s first airdate gets a bit closer.
In the meantime, Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) will get a fun surprise from Ciara Brady (Victoria Konefal). Since Ben and Ciara have been job hunting lately, will Ciara’s surprise tie in with that? It’s one possibility to consider. A motorcycle garage set will pop up before long, so Ciara might think it’s something they could run together.
Then again, maybe Ciara’s surprise will be more about taking a break from the job search. Perhaps Ben could use a motorcycle of his own or something along those lines. Whatever the case, some hints lead us to believe this “Cin” shocker will lead Ben and Ciara to that bike shop soon. Ben’s sure to be blown away no matter what.
Other Days spoilers say Sonny Kiriakis (Freddie Smith) will give Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth) some good advice. Justin can’t be passive in this battle for Kayla Brady’s (Mary Beth Evans) heart.
Sonny will think Justin has to step up and fight for the woman he loves. Since Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) will be doing the same thing, Sonny will feel like Justin has to work even harder for the future he wants.
As for Hope Brady (Kristian Alfonso), she’ll remain distraught over the nightmare she caused as Princess Gina Von Amberg. None of Princess Gina’s victims hold Hope responsible, but she still blames herself.
Hope was brainwashed through that microchip, but it’ll be tough for her to get past the terror she unleashed while her true self was dormant.
