General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that the buzz is true about William deVry’s exit as Julian Jerome. deVry’s recent Twitter photo below shows that he seems to be conforming his firing from General Hospital.
Daytime Confidential insists that William deVry is out as Julian Jerome, which certainly lines up with all the ominous dialogue on screen. It also backs up the rumblings we’ve been hearing about Julian’s exit, so let’s talk about how he may leave the show.
If you’ve been keeping up with General Hospital spoilers here at CDL, you know that an explosion and fire storyline is coming for November sweeps. There’s a good chance Charlie’s Pub will be where all that goes down based on insider hints. It makes sense considering Julian has been backed into a corner.
We’re probably going to see a presumed death situation for Julian, so the show will have some intriguing options. For starters, it’s possible Julian will fake his own death to wiggle out of all the trouble he’s in.
It’s also possible Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) will decide to end Julian’s life. After all, Cyrus noted that the only way to keep a secret is if one of them is dead! Julian is playing with fire when it comes to this Cyrus battle, so he may push Cyrus over the edge.
Then again, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) would have a motive to go after Julian if Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) releases Nelle Benson Jerome’s (Chloe Lanier) letter. Julian fears he’ll be a dead man if Sonny finds out everything that letter contains.
There’s even a chance drunk Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) could target Julian – perhaps while blacked out and unable to really know what she’s doing. The threats against Julian have really been piling up, so GH writers have created the possibility of a murder mystery here.
Of course, there’s no confirmation on whether Julian will leave dead or alive. Julian might genuinely be killed off, but all these explosion and fire clues make a presumed death more likely. Those exits are easier to undo, so it’s a wise way to go in case they want to bring Julian back at some point.
Regardless, we should note that sources insist deVry was fired, so it seems he would’ve preferred to stick around! Emme Rylan is another actor who’s reportedly been cut – and other firings are said to be brewing.
