Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash) will battle confusion when Kate Roberts DiMera (Lauren Koslow) suddenly breaks up with him. At least Jake will think it’s Kate! In reality, it’ll be Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) wearing a Kate mask in another one of her twisted schemes on Days of Our Lives.
The real Kate will be held hostage, so Days of Our Lives spoilers say Jake will naturally assume Kristen’s version is the real thing. However, “Kate” will catch Jake off guard with this out-of-the-blue breakup decision. Jake will protest and try to convince “Kate” they can talk things out, but she won’t be interested.
“Kate” will probably use Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus) as an excuse and argue that Jake should just go be with her instead. Jake will try to insist that it’s Kate he wants, but his mind will drift to Gabi later.
After this breakup in the week ahead, Jake will confide in Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) during the week of May 3-7.
Of course, Ben will be dealing with heartache as well since Ciara Brady Weston (Victoria Konefal) will be with Theo Carver (Cameron Johnson) in South Africa by then. That could affect things when it comes to the advice Ben offers Jake.
Perhaps Ben will argue that sometimes you have to know when to let something go if it’s not working. Ben might point out that you can’t force it if the other person isn’t interested.
Maybe Ben will also talk about the magnetic connection he used to feel with Ciara and how powerful it was when they both wanted each other.
Jake might realize it’s time to let Kate go and focus on Gabi since their own connection has never gone away. DOOL viewers know Jake’s been fighting his feelings for Gabi, but he won’t have to do that once “Kate” insists she’s done with him.
Gabi will grow a bit closer to Philip Kiriakis (Jay Kenneth Johnson) over the next couple weeks, but let’s be real! Philip isn’t the guy Gabi truly wants, so she’ll drop him like a hot potato once Jake comes along.
Days spoilers hint that May sweeps could bring a steamy reconnection for Jake and Gabi, so fans of this duo should be rewarded for their patience.
It sounds like Jake and Gabi may finally hit the sheets again, so this could certainly complicate the situation once the real Kate pops back up. Jake will find himself in a tight spot since he’ll already have moved on with Gabi!
