According to all new Y&R spoilers from Soap Opera Digest, Lachlan Buchanan has been tapped as Kyle Abbott, and he will make his “The Young and the Restless” debut on Wednesday February 25. “The Young and the Restless” spoilers have been teasing for weeks that Kyle Abbott, the son of Jack Abbott, would be headed back to Genoa City. The last time we saw Kyle on the CBS soap was when the character was played by Hartley Sawyer, and he has been reportedly working in New York City at Jabot since late 2013. Kyle Abbott’s most memorable storyline had to be his complicated relationship with Summer Newman – who was determined to have sex with him, and has no idea that he was actually her brother.
