Katy Perry And Lenny Kravitz Will Share Super Bowl Stage

Katy Perry and Lenny Kravitz will both share the stage at this year’s Super Bowl, according to a new report. Katy Perry apparently told everyone that Lenny Kravitz will be joining her for the half-time show on February 1st in Glendale Arizona, where this year’s Super Bowl is being held.

The two teams that will be duking it out for Super Bowl supremacy this year still hasn’t been decided, but it’s not too long now. And adding Lenny Kravitz to Katy Perry’s half-time routine is a genius way of battling criticism that the Super Bowl half-time show has become too ‘pop’ oriented. Nobody in their right mind would criticize Lenny Kravitz’s music or style, even if they whine about Katy Perry, Taylor Swift, and any of the other ‘popular’ musicians right now. Lenny Kravitz is the epitome of cool, and the Super Bowl desperately needs an infusion of cool right now. The last few shows have been a hit in terms of ratings, but they’re always the first thing that people criticize after the big day.

Of course, I also wonder how Katy Perry even agreed to share the stage with someone. We know that she’s got an ego [thanks to her feud with Taylor Swift, which hasn’t done either of them any favors], but we also know that it’s Lenny Kravitz. Can anyone say no to Lenny Kravitz? Probably not, which might be one of the reasons he’s on there instead of someone who’s equally as ‘famous’ as Katy Perry. Now, I almost wish that the network had insisted on Katy sharing the gig with Taylor Swift, just to see the mess that would have ensued.
